India’s Premier Platform for Grassroot Cricket
Where Dreams Meet Opportunity
Spirit of Grassroot Cricket League (SGCL) is India’s first franchise cricket league dedicated to bridging the gap between talented grassroots cricketers and professional franchise cricket.
With international legends, former domestic stars, transparent player selection, live-streamed selection matches, and franchise-based competition, SGCL is creating a new pathway for aspiring cricketers across India.
Why SGCL?
Our league combines professional franchise cricket with transparent player selection, international cricket experience, and nationwide exposure.
We aim to create an ecosystem where every talented cricketer gets a fair opportunity to perform, compete, and grow.
Our Mission
To transform grassroots cricket into a sustainable professional ecosystem.
Our Vision
To become India’s most respected grassroots franchise cricket league and create thousands of professional cricket opportunities across the country.
Our Values
•Fair Opportunity. Equal Dignity.
Creating meaningful opportunities for grassroots cricketers to grow, compete, and earn recognition.
•Growing the Game. Globally.
Contributing to cricket’s journey towards becoming a truly global sport, by taking the game deeper into its grassroots.
SGCL was founded with one simple vision-
To provide deserving grassroots cricketers with a professional platform that values talent above all else.
For years, thousands of talented players have lacked access to transparent opportunities.
SGCL changes that.
Our league combines professional franchise cricket with transparent player selection, international cricket experience, and nationwide exposure.
We aim to create an ecosystem where every talented cricketer gets a fair opportunity to perform, compete, and grow.
Grassroot cricketers drafted for SGCL Season 1 are proud and excited to be part of this historic journey.
They are grateful for the opportunity to represent themselves on a bigger platform.
With determination and confidence, they are ready to step onto the field and prove their potential.
Every player is eager to showcase their skills, talent and hard work.
The grassroot stars are ready to shine as they get the opportunity to play alongside international and domestic legends.
